Britain is reducing its diplomatic presence in Jerusalem under arrangements agreed with Israel. Reporting on October 8 said the East Jerusalem consulate would operate as a smaller UK mission, with a number of British diplomats leaving.
A remaining team is expected to continue essential work. The change follows tensions over Britain's sanctions relating to settler violence.
